Update from SP4K

Due to increased concerns surrounding the spread of the COVID-19 virus we have made the difficult decision to temporarily suspend our in-clinic appointments at both our Greenwood Village and Wheat Ridge locations.  We will resume in-clinic therapy as soon as it is deemed safe for our clients, staff and their families. In order to stay up to date, please refer to our website and social media platforms as we will be posting any updates.

We understand this is a difficult time for our clients and families and we want to continue to support you and your child through this process. Effective immediately, we will be continuing all therapy through a virtual online platform/telehealth platform until the date that we are able to resume in-clinic appointments.

‘GoToMeeting’ is the online platform/telehealth service we will be using to conduct our future at distance therapy sessions. This platform is a HIPAA compliant service available for use and download on your desktop, laptop and/or smartphone; it can be found in your Apple App/Google Play store. If using your desktop or laptop you will need a camera and microphone to utilize this resource.

In regard to billing; we will bill all telehealth and/or telephone services received to your insurance carrier on your behalf.  This will be the same as with any other service you receive at Sensory Pathways 4 Kids.  Any insurance limitations and responsibilities (if any) will remain the same as previously quoted as long as telehealth and/or telephone services are covered under your plan for our provider type.  Insurance carriers are making accommodations daily due to COVID-19, however, not all policies cover telehealth.

Moving forward your therapist will be in touch with you to talk about further instructions and scheduling.  Your therapist will also provide you with your ‘meeting ID’ and/or ‘name’ to log onto your scheduled sessions.  Through this change in services, we want to strive for consistency and routine from the comfort and safety of your home.

Please feel free to get in touch with your therapist, our office manager, billing manager or director during this time with any questions or concerns.

Stay happy and healthy,

The Sensory Pathways 4 Kids Team

Here is an equipment list of items that would benefit you and your child during our tele health sessions so that we can create a fun and regulating session for you in this time. Please contact your primary therapist if you have any questions or email SP4K directly at info@sp4kids.com.
